Honoring 2023 Physician of the Year, P. Joseph Frawley, M.D.

Dr. Frawley is a board-certified internist, recognized by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and has previously served as the President of the California Society of Addiction Medicine. He acquired his medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed his residency at the Veterans Medical Center.

Renowned for his decades of service to the Santa Barbara community, Dr. Frawley is highly committed to organized medicine. His transformative work with patients suffering from addiction and chronic pain has made a significant impact, a fact acknowledged by his nomination from his peers for his invaluable contributions.
